How to Obtain Game Pieces How to Obtain Game Pieces

There are three ways to obtain game pieces.  Detailed instructions for all three methods are provided on this page.
  • Purchase specially-marked Banquet products (receive both types of game pieces)
  • Request by mail (receive both types of game pieces)
  • Online request (receive only one type of game piece)

Purchase Specially-marked Banquet Products

Each specially-marked Banquet product includes one Watch, Match and Win Puzzle and one Instant Win Code. 

Request by Mail

Restrictions and Requirements

  • Request must be received by November 1st.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be a resident of any of the 50 U.S. states or the District of Columbia.
  • You will need both a phone number and an e-mail address.

Step-by-step Instructions

  • You will need to hand-write the following information on a 3 x 5 inch card or piece of paper.  The handwriting must be legible.
    • Full name
    • Full address
    • Day phone number
    • Evening phone number [OK if it is the same]
    • E-mail address
    • Date of birth
  • You must place the 3 x 5 information card into an envelope.
  • Mail the envelope to the following address:
    MEAL OF FORTUNE INSTANT WIN AND SWEEPSTAKES
    PO BOX 2800
    GRAND RAPIDS MN  55745-2800
The official rules do not indicate that there is any limit to the number of written requests that you can make.  This suggests that you can mail as many requests as you like (one request per envelope) and receive a pair of game pieces for each request!  However:  the sponsor may limit the request to one per household or one per individual.  I will mail two requests on the same day and confirm the situation once I have received the game pieces.  Sponsor will mail one Watch, Match and Win Puzzle and one Instant Win Code within 10 days of receiving the written request. 

Online Request (begins October 23rd)

  • Visit a not-yet-announced web site and request an Instant Win Code, to be sent to you via e-mail.
  • I will post the web site address once it has been announced.
